Christians often send notes to me stating that they're glad to find out that they are not alone. It's amazing to me, as many contacts as I have through this site, that Christians who own guns and enjoy the shooting sports feel as isolated as they do.

The fact is that millions of responsible Christians across the U.S. enjoy shooting and hunting. And millions believe in the right and responsibility to protect themselves and their families from criminal assault.

This site is dedicated to those millions of Christians. The patriots who enjoy the shooting sports of all kinds and believe in and practice responsibility for their and their family's safety and protection.

"Christian" here means just that. Nothing more or less. The real kind, not the tv kind. Not the tribal warlike kind.

Just believers in Christ that express that belief by living their everyday lives attempting to do their best to follow Christ. But they also acknowledge their human nature and occasional failures. The true Christian gun owner believes he/she is to be a servant to humanity. But that belief does but not extend to being a doormat to those who refuse to live by the rules of reasonable human behavior.

If you found this site and take issue with those beliefs, this is not a place for you to vent. If you would like to enter here to view, read, consider, learn, and communicate, you are welcome. You may even leave with the decision to become a Christian gun owner.

GUNS are as much a part of American life as the proverbial apple pie. Increasingly restrictive gun laws over the decades left America in it's worst shape yet in the 90s, as far as the depletion of it's rights to keep and bear arms. A mass killing in Killeen Texas started a firestorm of gun owner resolve that has led to today over 35 states having concealed carry laws allowing law abiding citizens to carry concealed weapons. Gun sports, hunting, gun reviews, and gun laws are all discussed in this section.

THE CHRISTIAN GUN OWNER is a regular, everyday person like you and I who enjoys the shooting sports and believes in the second amendment to the U.S. Constitution as an individual's right. Christian gun owner profiles and interviews will be featured on this website.

CRIME. The reason most every person who has a Concealed Carry Permit has one for. My hat is off to the brave law enforcement officers throughout the U.S. who deal with violent crime and criminals on a daily basis.

The problem for the average citizen is that there are way more predatory bad guys in this world than there are police. The police are not likely to be present at the time your home is broken into, or you are assaulted, robbed or threatened with grave bodily harm. Crime, criminals, and their affect on you and society in general will be discussed here.

SELF DEFENSE. For the informed Christian, we know that the Bible does not call us to pacifism in protecting ourselves and our families from the criminals of this world. And self defense takes more forms than just protection by firearms. Gun defense as well as many other types will be discussed here. Articles by martial artists and self defense experts are welcome and will be included here.

POLITICS. Where most difficulties in America originate today. It is probably no secret to anybody reading only this far that I am neither liberal nor a Democrat. Liberal politicians and policies that encourage people's dependence on the government, remove individual responsibility and forcibly take finances from responsible Americans makes me sick. Period.
