Web Gun Reviews

I get a lot of questions on "what I know" about certain guns, many of which I have never owned or shot. In response, I'm now starting to access trusted sources and writing summary reviews of popular guns.

Consequently, this page will link to summary web gun reviews. These will be guns that I do not own, and have had limited or no personal experience with but have researched thoroughly to find the general quality, dependability and durability of them. Hopefully, this will be a good "starting point" for people searching for some of these guns.

Dan Wesson Revolvers: A great looking Dan Wesson .357 magnum was my first revolver 3 decades ago. Today, though their production has been discontinued, among revolver enthusiasts they remain a sought after gun for recreational shooting, hunting and self defense.

The Kahr CW9: While appreciating Kahr's more considerate pricing of their "economy class" handguns, it appears the legendary dependability of the more expensive guns has been somewhat compromised in the cheaper models.

Kel Tec P3AT: Kel Tec created a unique, innovative and useful firearm in their line of tiny pocket pistols. Their customer service is second to none. But the small auto pistols that come from the Kel Tec factory are often plagued with dependability problems that require a return to the manufacturer for a fix.

Ruger LCP .380: The Ruger LCP became one of the hottest guns on the market when it made its appearance. Tiny, light weight, and seemingly having solved some of Kel Tec's dependability issues the gun was an instant success. However, its premier was not without some significant problems.

Ruger P89: The Ruger "P" Series of pistols is a workhorse group of which the P89 has formerly been a part. Even though the P89 has been discontinued for a few years, the gun is still widely available in gun shops across the country.

Sig Sauer P229: Sig's legendary dependability, durability, and accuracy are all built in to the P229. Like all Sig models, it is available in numerous styles and configurations.

Eric Holder's denial before congress, about the Fast And Furious gun running scandal, is a national disgrace.

The Political Cesspool Is Full (and overflowing) in 2012. The presidential race is shaping up to be a nasty ..... and stupid one.
