Kahr K9. Big Punch, Compact Package

As an owner of several hanguns from .22-.45 my choice for daily carry varies, well, daily. However, my most carried, and personal favorite is my Kahr K9. It provides a full size caliber in almost a mouse gun size. I say that because I was shooting with my Father-in-Law recently and he had a Sig 232 .380 ACP. The Kahr and Sig were almost identical in size.

Quite frankly I feel under-gunned with anything less than 9mm as a primary weapon. The K9 holds 7+1 and will disappear under ANY clothing. And while it's big enough to get all my fingers on the grip, it's also small enough for my wife to handle with ease.

The trigger pull is like glass, and at 21 ft, off hand, it will hold a five round group under an inch and has proven to be utterly reliable. I live on the Oregon coast (rains 8 months out of the year) and this weapon has never malfunctioned. I buy ammo by the thousands, and have put 5,000 rounds through it. Never misses a beat.

Great weapon for anyone.
